And, the universe knows I suck, and therefore, I had a cold and high fever that confined me to my bed with only a remote control and her television as company.

But, I still followed the rules. Which are...
- No sulking
- Listen only to John/Beatles music
- Give peace a chance
- Appreciate how gorgeous John was, 'cause by gum, he was.
- Draw or write something about John, 'cause I said so.

Y'know...except the last one, because my throat looked and felt like a chic lion had decided my throat was the new antelope. And, not only that, but I was told to stay in bed and I also understood motion detector's would go off if I left.

I was the happiest little thing that ever came round the block, despite the nausea, headaches, and eventual fever dreams (let me tell you, my fever dreams are like being stuck in a horror movie. I start babbling about the strangest things. My latest one was being stuck in a Renaissance festival and the one before was slightly worse--I dreamt I was that girl in Rumpeltstiltskin and I had to make hay into gold thread. My leg was actually bobbing in my sleep. Ugh. Horrible.)

I listened to the Beatles, I was otherwise peaceful, I didn't sulk [much], I thought about John in all his gorgeousness. And by gum, I did draw.

I CAME, I SAW, I CONQUERED.

Also, as a footnote, the circle around him makes him sort of a peace sign.
I used plenty of markers and glue, which I used to paste on his face (a cutout from a picture), and then outlined his face with microns. And, yeah, I know his head is tilted. When it was straight it made him look priestly...not exactly what I was aiming for.
